# 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)

**3R** is a tactical framework designed to optimize industrial metabolism by minimizing linear resource throughput.

By integrating these three actions into system design, organizations can decouple growth from resource consumption, effectively transforming potential waste liabilities into recovered operational assets:

- **Reduce:** Minimizing the intake of raw materials and energy at the source to prevent waste before it occurs.
