CA Lance
CA Lance is an abbreviation for "Calorized Lance," referring to a highly heat-resistant lance pipe treated with Daiwa Lance International's (DLI), one of the o2Oh umbrella companies', proprietary calorizing process. This treatment applies a calorized layer and a refractory ceramic coating to both the pipe's inner and outer surfaces.
The CA Lance exhibits strong resistance to intense heat and oxidation, lasting approximately 3 to 10 times longer than the SC Lance. This durability makes it suitable for injecting not only oxygen but also additives such as carbon and lime during the melting and refining of steel.
