Forensic Analysis

Forensic Analysis in the industrial context is the systematic, evidence-based investigation required to determine the root cause of a component failure, material defect, or system accident.

It is a scientific approach that applies specialized tools, such as microscopy and materials testing, to physically trace the sequence of events leading to a malfunction.

This work is crucial for quality assurance, improving product design, supporting legal inquiries regarding product liability, and guaranteeing the long-term reliability of complex engineering systems.
