Hot-Dip Galvanizing

Hot-dip galvanizing is a robust batch process that provides for comprehensive anti-corrosion protection to steel articles. The cleaned, finished component is fully submerged in a kettle of molten zinc.

This immersion facilitates a metallurgical reaction that forms a series of tough zinc-iron alloy layers, integrally bonded to the steel substrate and capped with pure zinc.
