SBTN, or the Science Based Targets Network, expands science-based targets beyond climate to the broader Earth system. It provides a holistic framework for companies to assess and reduce impacts on freshwater, land, ocean, and biodiversity. 

Building on [SBTi](https://www.o2oh.com/glossary/sbti-science-based-targets-initiative)’s success, SBTN helps firms pursue a **"Nature Positive"** future by respecting localized ecological limits. This is vital for securing raw materials and ensuring long-term resilience of value chains reliant on natural capital.
