2D CAD

2D CAD is the digital method for creating precise, two-dimensional geometric projections, fundamentally replacing manual drafting.

This system relies on X and Y coordinates to generate orthographic views, such as front, top, and side.

2D CAD remains indispensable for generating detailed manufacturing documents, schematics, and construction layouts, where the primary objective is the unambiguous communication of dimensions, tolerances, and assembly instructions to the production floor.
