3D CAD

3D CAD systems are the industrial standard for defining a product in a complete, three-dimensional digital space (X, Y, and Z axes).

Unlike 2D, 3D CAD creates a comprehensive digital model rich with geometric and physical data (mass, volume, center of gravity).

This allows engineers to perform crucial tasks like simulating performance, verifying assembly fit and function (clash detection), and generating necessary manufacturing instructions directly from a single master model, significantly de-risking the entire design cycle.
