XR (Extended Reality)

Extended Reality (XR) encompasses a broad category of cutting-edge technologies, including Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR), that merge the actual and digital environments to generate innovative experiences.

XR represents a continuum in which the physical and digital worlds merge to varying degrees. It is driven by advanced computing, sensor technology, and AI, which enable real-time tracking and spatial awareness.

The concept simplifies communication about the spectrum of immersive experiences and the evolving hardware and software that enable them. XR is rapidly becoming a foundational tool across industries for advanced simulation, remote collaboration, and highly engaging training.
