AR (Augmented Reality)

AR is the abbreviation for "Augmented Reality," and it is one of the advanced technologies called "XR (Cross Reality)" that creates new value by overlaying digital information onto real-world experiences, using smartphone screens or smart glasses.

In contrast to VR, which generates a completely different setting, AR improves reality. Its core technical challenge involves accurate registration—ensuring the virtual content remains perfectly anchored to the correct physical location and perspective as the user moves.

AR is widely used in practical applications such as navigation, remote assistance for equipment repair, retail and interior design visualization, and interactive education, serving as a powerful layer of digital information integrated into our physical space.
