# AI Governance

AI Governance combines global frameworks such as the [OECD AI Principles](https://oecd.ai/en/ai-principles) and the [EU AI Act](https://www.europarl.europa.eu/topics/en/article/20230601STO93804/eu-ai-act-first-regulation-on-artificial-intelligence). It strategically coordinates rules, practices, and technological safeguards to ensure artificial intelligence aligns with human values, turning ethical concepts into practical actions.

In 2026, governance has become a socio-technical necessity. It closes accountability gaps by defining responsibility when autonomous agents fail, balancing innovation with risk management focused on data privacy, algorithmic bias, and transparency.

For the global industry, effective governance builds trust by protecting fundamental rights and maintaining public confidence in a machine-augmented society.

Despite progress, key challenges persist. First, AI capabilities grow exponentially, outpacing the slower pace of legislation. Second, regulatory fragmentation creates a patchwork of compliance requirements, forcing firms to manage conflicting rules across the EU, the US, and Asia. Finally, as autonomous AI agents become widespread, legal liability for their actions remains unclear. Our main goal is to make governance agile, not just restrictive.
