Aluminum Lance Pipe

An aluminum lance pipe is a type of lance pipe that utilizes aluminum as the raw material for the pipe instead of the typical steel (iron).

High-purity silicon metal, used in the manufacturing of solar panels and semiconductors, requires the use of an aluminum lance because using a steel lance pipe during production can introduce iron content, leading to product defects.

An aluminum lance pipe achieves excellent heat resistance by applying a ceramic coating to the raw aluminum pipe through a specialized manufacturing process, making it a valuable industrial material that streamlines manufacturing processes within the renewable energy sector.

Daiwa Aluminum Lance, produced by an o2Oh group company, Daiwa Lance International (DLI) in Viet Nam, is a lightweight, aluminum-based oxygen lance pipe renowned for its corrosion resistance. It can optionally be enhanced with an inner and outer refractory ceramic coating for superior heat resistance in applications like submerged EAFs.
