Cold Rolled Steel (CRS)

Cold rolled steel (CRS) Sheet is a flat steel product manufactured by reducing the thickness of hot-rolled coil (HRC) at room temperature, below the material's recrystallization point.

This cold working process fundamentally alters the microstructure, enhancing the steel's surface finish, dimensional accuracy, and mechanical strength. CRS exhibits excellent properties for further fabrication, including superior formability and ductility, making it indispensable for high-precision applications.

It is the material of choice in industries like automotive body panels, household appliances, and certain electronics, where uniformity and a smooth surface for coating or painting are essential requirements.
