Computer Vision

As an AI discipline, computer vision is an area of research focused on enabling computers to see, interpret, and make sense of the world through images and videos.

Just as the human brain processes images from our eyes, computer vision systems use algorithms to process data from cameras and other sensors. It allows machines to "see" and identify objects, people, and actions. This technology is fundamental to self-driving cars for detecting pedestrians and road signs, and it's essential in manufacturing for quality control, where it can detect defects on a production line with incredible speed and accuracy.
